Winter is a time of great adventure, with vast blankets of snow, colorful explosions of sunsets, still beaches, and cozy cabin escapes. Growing up in Southern California, I have a newfound appreciation for the stillness, cold, and some of the best adventures this time of year offers. Everyone says winter feels long, but it is actually short and finite. I try to enjoy as much of winter as possible at its peak beauty and explore its snowy features. I now belong to winter and hope you can find belonging in winter too, even if you're a summer soul at heart.
